Anybody experience an object level limit about 268 levels? Folks have been inserting objects "below" in this one spread-sheet like module.

Opened a new Formal Module, created first object then held down CTRL-L to continuously create objects below, got to 400 levels down and no sign of stopping, but did notice that the Module Explorer stops at 255 levels down.

An update - an attempt to save the module with these 400 levels caused DOORS 9v2 to crash. A more controlled incremental test saw it crash at 232 levels, subsequent test it crashed at 243 levels, obviously unstable, but also a highly exceptional and unexpected way to use the tool.

Very interessting topic and good example for the bad quality of DOORS in some respects. (In my view well written software should not crash through any valid user actions.)
@Ilandale: So have you been able to store the module with 268 levels of objects?
Like described from Paul Miller my DOORS crashes if I try to store a module with more than 2xy+ levels (with 2xy between 230 and 250).
Obviously there is an overflow at 256 levels, as objects of this level a displayed on the very left side of module explorer, just like objects of level 1.

Well, what I said originally is a bit like this:
Dude goes to Doctor "When I stand on one leg, put the other behind my head, stick my arm in the air and twist my thumbs, it hurts!". The Doctor, of course, says "Don't do that".
